Baritu-Tariquia
Binational Corridor
This project was carried out by the NW Regional Delegation (NWRD)
of the National Parks Administration of Argentina and PROMETA ngo
of Bolivia.
The main objective of the project was to design an environmental
corridor giving material connection to both protected areas: Tariquía
in Bolivia and Baritú in Argentina, in order to optimise
conservation and management of the ecosystem.
Partial and final products of this project were: a socio-economic
diagnostic and an environmental diagnostic of the linking area between
both protected nucleons plus alternative proposals to design and
manage the corridor.
